Who we are

The Stack Insiders is an independent affiliate resource site. We are not owned or operated by HighLevel, Inc. We are a HighLevel affiliate partner and earn a commission when readers sign up through our links. This site provides reviews, tutorials, comparisons, and tools to help users evaluate and get the most out of GoHighLevel.

What data we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is what we use:

Essential cookies

These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They include:

• NEXT_LOCALE – Stores your language preference (en or es).
• ghl_jurisdiction – Stores your detected privacy jurisdiction so we can show the correct cookie banner. No personal data is stored; only a region code (e.g. "EU", "NONE").
• stcm_* – Silktide Consent Manager cookies that store your cookie preferences.

Analytics cookies (optional)

If you are in a regulated jurisdiction (EU/EEA, UK, Brazil, or California) these only load after you give explicit consent. For visitors in other regions, they load automatically but you can opt out at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – Helps us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are popular, where visitors come from, and how they navigate. Google may process this data on servers in the United States. See Google's privacy policy.

Google Consent Mode v2

For visitors in regulated jurisdictions, we implement Google Consent Mode v2. This means Google tags default to "denied" for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization until you give consent. If you reject analytics cookies, Google receives no tracking data from your visit.

The ChatGPT plugin

Our ChatGPT plugin, SaaS Pricing: Stack Insiders, has no accounts and sets no cookies. When you use it, ChatGPT sends our server the details it needs for an answer: the software product names, plan names and seat counts in your question, and any prices or business figures you include, such as what you pay for a tool or how many clients you have. We use them only to work out the answer that goes back to ChatGPT.

• We do not store plugin requests or answers, and we do not use them for analytics, advertising or profiling.
• We do not receive your name, your email address or the rest of your conversation. ChatGPT may attach technical details to a request, such as your language setting, a general location, the type of device and an anonymous identifier. We do not read, use or store them.
• Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs for requests to the plugin (time, address requested, response status and the address of the calling server, which belongs to OpenAI). Those logs do not contain what you asked. Vercel removes them on its own retention schedule.
• Because we keep nothing, there is no plugin data for us to export or delete. OpenAI handles your ChatGPT conversations under its own privacy policy.

We do not

• Sell your personal data to anyone
• Run retargeting or advertising pixels
• Collect names, emails, or payment info (unless you contact us directly)
• Use fingerprinting or any tracking beyond the cookies listed above

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

• Access what data we hold about you
• Delete your data
• Opt out of analytics cookies at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer
• Withdraw consent previously given
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), LGPD (Brazil), and CCPA (California), these rights are protected by law. We honor them regardless of where you are located.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default retention policy (26 months for GA4, 30 days for Clarity session data). Consent preference cookies persist for 1 year or until you clear them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
