What are the three GoHighLevel pricing plans?

GoHighLevel publishes three flat-priced tiers plus a custom-quoted Enterprise plan, all verified against the official pricing guide. The three self-serve plans cover almost every agency and business. Unlike most CRM and marketing platforms, GoHighLevel charges a flat monthly fee regardless of team size or contact count. The $497 tier is labeled Agency Pro on the official page (previously SaaS Pro).

Each plan includes the full GoHighLevel platform. The difference between tiers is about scale, white-labelling, and rebilling capability, not core feature access.

What is included in the Starter plan at $97 per month?

The Starter plan gives you the complete GoHighLevel platform with 3 sub-accounts. It is not a stripped-down entry tier. Features include unlimited contacts, CRM and pipeline management, email and SMS marketing, funnel and website builder, workflow automation, calendar and booking, and reputation management. The only meaningful restrictions are the 3 sub-account cap and limited API access.

Choose Starter if you are a single business or an agency with 1 to 3 clients. At $97 per month, it replaces tools that together cost $400 to $1,100 per month when purchased separately.

What is included in the Unlimited plan at $297 per month?

The Unlimited plan adds everything most agencies actually need: unlimited client sub-accounts, a white-label desktop app with your own logo and domain, full API access, and phone and email rebilling at cost. Clients log in and see your brand, not GoHighLevel's.

Choose Unlimited if you manage four or more clients and want to present the platform under your own brand. A single client at $197 per month covers two-thirds of the plan cost. Ten clients at $200 per month generate $2,000 in monthly recurring revenue against a $297 subscription.

For more detail on white-labelling, read the GoHighLevel white-label guide.

What is included in the Agency Pro plan at $497 per month?

Agency Pro (previously SaaS Pro) is for agencies that want to sell GoHighLevel as their own software product. It adds SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, automated client onboarding and billing, user and agent reporting, and advanced API access. Voice AI is not bundled into the plan price on any tier; it needs the AI Employee add-on, and what Agency Pro adds is the ability to rebill that usage to clients with your own markup. Clients self-onboard by selecting a plan and entering payment details, and their sub-account is provisioned automatically under your brand.

The SaaS math: 20 clients at $197 per month generates $3,940 against a $497 plan cost. The margin improves with each additional client.

Choose Agency Pro if you want a genuine SaaS revenue stream, need to mark up usage billing to clients, or want to rebill AI Employee and Voice AI usage to clients with your own markup. See the GoHighLevel SaaS mode guide for a full walkthrough.

What are GoHighLevel's usage costs for SMS, calls, and email?

GoHighLevel's base plans do not include SMS, call, or email sending. Every message, minute, and email sends at a published per-unit rate on top of the flat subscription. None of these are secret; HighLevel publishes every rate. What follows is the complete list verified against the LC Phone pricing guide and the official pricing guide in July 2026.

SMS and MMS costs

  • SMS outbound and inbound: $0.00747 per segment (a long text spans multiple segments)
  • MMS outbound: $0.0220 per segment; inbound $0.0165 on local numbers
  • Carrier surcharges: roughly $0.003 per outbound SMS on US carriers, passed through per the A2P 10DLC fee schedule

US businesses must complete A2P 10DLC registration before texting: a one-time $24.50 fee for most brands (or $71.91 for high-volume standard brands), plus a recurring campaign fee between $1.50 and $10 per month depending on use case. Budget this per client sub-account for agencies.

International pricing note: HighLevel raised outbound and inbound SMS prices for roughly 70 international destinations effective July 6, 2026, reflecting carrier cost increases. US and Canada rates were unchanged.

Phone call costs

  • Outbound calls: $0.0166 per minute, billed in full minutes
  • Inbound calls: $0.01165 per minute to the web or mobile app; $0.02 per minute when forwarded to a US number
  • Phone numbers: $1.15 per month for local numbers; $2.15 per month for toll-free

Email sending costs (LC Email)

GoHighLevel's built-in email infrastructure bills at $0.675 per 1,000 emails sent, with email validation at $2.50 per 1,000 checks. Most users sending under 50,000 emails per month add only a few dollars in email cost each month. High-volume senders can connect Mailgun or SendGrid instead.

Workflow premium action costs

Premium workflow steps -- including Google Sheets, Slack, custom webhooks, and GPT-powered actions -- bill at $0.01 per execution. Workflow Pro bundles ($10 to $50 per month) lower the effective per-execution rate for agencies running high-volume automations.

What AI add-on pricing does GoHighLevel charge?

GoHighLevel's AI features bill per sub-account, not per platform-wide subscription. Pricing changed in May 2025. There are three modes: pay-per-use, AI Employee Growth, and AI Employee Unlimited. See the full AI Employee pricing guide for a complete breakdown.

Conversation AI pricing

Conversation AI (the chat bot that answers website visitors and missed calls) is available on all plans. On pay-per-use, each AI response bills at the published usage rate. On AI Employee Growth ($50 per month per sub-account), 1,000 Conversation AI responses are included. Usage above the included amount bills at the per-response rate.

Voice AI pricing

Voice AI (the AI that handles inbound calls) is included in Agency Pro. On Starter and Unlimited it requires either an AI Employee add-on or per-minute usage billing. Call minutes bill separately on all plans including Agency Pro. The Voice AI cost breakdown walks through a real per-minute calculation with example totals.

AI Employee pricing tiers

TierPriceIncludes
Pay-per-use$0No monthly fee; every action bills at usage rates
AI Employee Growth$50/mo per sub-account1,000 Conversation AI responses + 100 Voice AI minutes
AI Employee Unlimited$97/mo per sub-accountHigher included volumes; full AI feature access

AI Employee rebilling with markup requires the $497 Agency Pro plan. The $297 Unlimited plan can rebill at cost only.

Does GoHighLevel offer annual billing savings?

Yes. GoHighLevel offers a 17% discount for annual subscriptions, sourced from the official pricing guide. You switch to annual billing from account settings after subscribing; the trial period runs on monthly billing.

PlanMonthlyAnnual TotalAnnual EquivalentAnnual Saving
Starter$97/mo$970/yr~$81/mo~$194/yr
Unlimited$297/mo$2,970/yr~$248/mo~$594/yr
Agency Pro$497/mo$4,970/yr~$414/mo~$994/yr

Annual billing makes sense for agencies that have completed the 30-day trial and are committed to the platform. There are no long-term contracts on monthly plans.

What does GoHighLevel actually cost per month for a typical agency?

The headline plan price is not the total bill. A working agency on the Unlimited plan will pay the $297 subscription plus usage costs for every client's messages, calls, and emails. Ashley Kemp calculated the following worked example using verified rate card numbers to show the real monthly range.

The table models two scenarios: a lean agency with light usage and no AI add-ons, and a growth agency running AI on several client accounts.

Cost ItemLean AgencyGrowth Agency
Unlimited plan$297$297
SMS (2,000 vs 10,000 segments)$14.94$74.70
Calls (300 vs 2,500 minutes)$4.98$41.50
Email (10,000 vs 50,000 sends)$6.75$33.75
Phone numbers (2 vs 8)$2.30$9.20
A2P campaign fees$2$8
AI Employee Growth (0 vs 4 sub-accounts)$0$200
Workflow Pro bundle$0$20
WhatsApp (0 vs 2 sub-accounts)$0$20
Estimated monthly total~$328~$704

The real cost for most Unlimited plan agencies lands between $300 and $700 per month depending on messaging volume and AI adoption. The plan fee is the floor; usage is the variable. Budget at least $50 to $150 per month in usage costs even at low activity levels.

Is there a GoHighLevel free plan or free tier?

No. GoHighLevel does not offer a permanent free plan. The platform's standard trial is 14 days. Through The Stack Insiders' partner link, every plan starts with a 30-day free trial -- double the standard window -- with full feature access and no charge until the trial ends. Cancel any time before the 30 days are up and nothing is billed.

There is no freemium version, no free-forever tier, and no stripped-down free account. If you see claims of a free GoHighLevel account, they typically refer to trial periods or white-labeled reseller versions where a third party covers the cost.

Start your 30-day free trial through our partner link.

Does GoHighLevel offer refunds?

No. GoHighLevel's Terms of Service state that all fees, including subscription fees, are non-refundable, including for partially used or unused Platform or Services subscriptions. HighLevel reserves sole and absolute discretion to issue or deny a refund for any reason, and that determination is final.

Because there is no money-back guarantee, the trial is the real risk mitigation, not a refund request after the fact. GoHighLevel's standard trial runs 14 days; through The Stack Insiders' partner link every plan starts with a 30-day trial with full feature access. Testing the platform fully during that window matters more here than it would on a platform that offers refunds after purchase.

One point worth knowing before you cancel: any balance left in your account's wallet does not come back to you automatically. The ToS makes wallet refunds an active request, not an automatic one, and any wallet balance left unclaimed for more than 30 days after cancellation becomes HighLevel's property. If you cancel, request your wallet balance back before that window closes.

The ToS also states plainly that no refunds are provided for failing to properly cancel the Services on your account. Cancelling correctly, not just letting a plan lapse, is the only way to stop billing. See how to cancel GoHighLevel for the exact steps.

This is the core subscription policy. It is separate from the App Marketplace refund policy, which offers a prorated refund only within 3 days of purchase and applies only to apps bought through the Marketplace, not to the $97, $297, or $497 agency plans.

What optional add-ons does GoHighLevel offer?

GoHighLevel offers several paid add-ons that extend the platform. All are optional. Most agencies start on the base plan and add features when client needs justify the cost.

Add-OnPrice
White-Label Mobile App$497/mo
HIPAA Compliance$297/mo
Premium Support$500/mo
Branded Client Portal App$49/mo per sub-account
Dedicated Email IP$59/mo per IP
Online Listings$30/mo
Premium Prospecting Tool$29/mo per sub-account
SEO (powered by Search Atlas)$79/mo per sub-account
WhatsApp$10/mo per sub-account + usage

Premium Support at $500 per month provides a dedicated account manager and priority escalation. It is marketed toward high-volume SaaS resellers and enterprise accounts.

GoHighLevel's value case is clear at the platform level: $97 per month with unlimited users, built-in SMS, built-in funnels, and a full CRM undercuts most equivalent multi-tool stacks by 60 to 80 percent. For the underlying numbers, the 2026 Agency Software Cost Index models what a solo, small, and mid-size agency stack actually costs per month against 53 tools across 17 categories.

Which GoHighLevel plan should you choose?

Not sure which plan fits? Take the Plan Finder quiz for a recommendation based on your team size, use case, and feature needs. You can also use the Stack Savings Calculator to see consolidation savings, or estimate your ROI.

Choose Starter if you are a single business using GHL internally, you have 1 to 3 clients, or you want to test the platform before committing to a higher plan.

Choose Unlimited if you manage four or more clients in separate sub-accounts, you want to white-label the platform under your brand, or you need full API access.

Choose Agency Pro if you want to build a SaaS revenue stream, need rebilling with markup, or want to rebill AI Employee and Voice AI usage to clients with your own markup.

Consider Enterprise only if you have outgrown Agency Pro's unlimited sub-accounts and your message or AI volume is high enough that custom terms might beat standard usage rates. Pricing is quote-only; contact HighLevel's sales team directly.

How do you get the best deal on GoHighLevel?

The standard GoHighLevel trial is 14 days. Through The Stack Insiders' partner link, every plan comes with a 30-day free trial at no cost. That is double the time to test the platform before the first charge hits.

During the trial you have full access to every feature on your chosen plan. A structured four-week approach works well:

  • Week 1: Import contacts, configure your CRM and pipeline
  • Week 2: Build your first funnel and automation sequence
  • Week 3: Test SMS campaigns, reputation management, and calendar
  • Week 4: Evaluate results, model your real monthly cost, and choose a plan

There are no long-term contracts. Start on Starter and upgrade to Unlimited when you exceed 3 sub-accounts. Downgrades are also possible at any time through account settings, and if you need to close the account entirely, the cancellation process takes about ten steps from the billing screen.
