GoHighLevel vs Agent-crm (2026)

Our verdict: GoHighLevel wins for agencies
7 min read·Updated August 2026

How we compare: Read our methodology →

Is Agent CRM the same as GoHighLevel?

Agent CRM is not an independent competitor to GoHighLevel. By its own blog's admission, Agent CRM is built on GoHighLevel's infrastructure, rebuilt and configured specifically for insurance agents. Its consumer-facing marketing site and pricing page never mention GoHighLevel or HighLevel once. Agent CRM's Upgrade tier costs $297/month, the exact price of GoHighLevel's own Unlimited plan. The real decision is not which platform to choose. It is whether Agent CRM's pre-built insurance bundles are worth paying a specialist for, instead of subscribing to GoHighLevel directly.

Agent CRM markets itself to insurance agents as its own product. It is not one. Agent CRM's own blog states plainly that it runs on GoHighLevel's infrastructure, repackaged and configured for insurance agents. Nothing on Agent CRM's consumer-facing site says so. This page states the relationship plainly, then compares what each actually costs and offers.

What each actually is

GoHighLevel is a general-purpose agency platform: CRM, funnels, websites, SMS, email and automation, sold directly at gohighlevel.com/pricing.

Agent CRM is not a separate platform built from scratch. Its own blog states this directly: "Agent CRM is built on GoHighLevel's infrastructure, but it's completely rebuilt, configured, and supported specifically for insurance agents" (blog.agent-crm.com, verified live 2026-08-25). The same post adds: "You get every HighLevel feature, plus insurance-specific automations, AI tools, compliance, and support that GoHighLevel doesn't offer."

That admission lives on Agent CRM's own blog, aimed at an audience that already knows the GoHighLevel ecosystem. Agent CRM's consumer-facing site, including its /plans pricing page, never mentions GoHighLevel or HighLevel by name. An insurance agent shopping on the marketing site alone would have no way to know.

Pricing, stated honestly

Agent CRM's own /plans page, verified live 2026-08-25, lists two tiers, both plus carrier fees:

  • Starter: $97/month
  • Upgrade: $297/month

GoHighLevel's own pricing page, verified live the same day, lists three:

  • Starter: $97/month
  • Unlimited: $297/month
  • Agency Pro: $497/month

Agent CRM's Upgrade tier and GoHighLevel's Unlimited plan cost exactly the same: $297 a month. Agent CRM's entry tier matches GoHighLevel's Starter at $97 too. The prices are not similar. They are identical, on top of a platform Agent CRM's own blog says is the same infrastructure.

The differentiator: you may already be able to build this yourself

If an insurance agent is paying Agent CRM's price for pre-built workflows and an AI assistant layered on top of what is, by Agent CRM's own description, GoHighLevel's infrastructure, the honest question is not "which platform." It is whether the template markup is worth it, on a platform available directly at the same monthly price.

One place that markup shows up is HIPAA compliance. GoHighLevel's own pricing page lists a HIPAA compliance add-on at $297/month, verified live 2026-08-25. Agent CRM's blog states the same add-on costs GoHighLevel customers "$300/month extra," close to but not exactly matching GoHighLevel's own stated figure, and claims HIPAA compliance is included in Agent CRM's $97/month Starter plan. Agent CRM's own /plans page does not list HIPAA compliance as a named feature of either tier, so that inclusion is stated on Agent CRM's blog but not confirmed on its own pricing page.

Where Agent CRM genuinely wins

Agent CRM's own site names nine insurance verticals, each with what it calls a Bundle: "a collection of marketing assets that include the website, automations, pipelines, and more, included at no extra cost." The nine named verticals: Medicare, Life Insurance, IULs, Infinite Banking, Group Benefits (for Employers and Employees), P&C Insurance (Home, Auto and Cross-Sells), Health Insurance, Annuities, and Final Expense Insurance.

For an insurance agent with no time to build automations, pipelines and a website from scratch, that is real, immediate value. GoHighLevel itself sells none of these as pre-built vertical bundles; an agency would need to build them on the base platform.

Where GoHighLevel is the better buy

An agent or agency that wants the relationship disclosed. GoHighLevel is upfront that it is GoHighLevel. Agent CRM's own blog admits it runs on the same infrastructure; its marketing site does not.

An agent who wants to build their own workflows, or already has an agency partner who can. At the same $97 and $297 price points, GoHighLevel gives direct access to the underlying platform Agent CRM is built on.

An agency serving more than just insurance agents. GoHighLevel is a general-purpose platform. Agent CRM is configured narrowly for one vertical.

Who should choose which

Choose Agent CRM if you are an insurance agent who wants the nine named vertical bundles pre-built, with no time or interest in configuring GoHighLevel's automations and pipelines yourself.

Choose GoHighLevel directly if you want the same underlying platform at the same price, disclosed plainly, with the flexibility to configure it for insurance or any other vertical, or if you already have an agency partner who can build the same kind of bundle Agent CRM sells.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Agent CRM built on GoHighLevel?
Yes. Agent CRM's own blog states directly that Agent CRM is built on GoHighLevel's infrastructure, rebuilt and configured specifically for insurance agents. Agent CRM's consumer-facing marketing site and pricing page do not mention GoHighLevel or HighLevel.
How much does Agent CRM cost?
Agent CRM's own /plans page lists two tiers, both plus carrier fees: Starter at $97/month and Upgrade at $297/month, verified live 2026-08-25.
Is Agent CRM the same price as GoHighLevel?
Both tiers match GoHighLevel's published pricing exactly: Agent CRM Starter ($97/month) equals GoHighLevel Starter, and Agent CRM Upgrade ($297/month) equals GoHighLevel Unlimited.
Can I get Agent CRM's insurance templates on GoHighLevel directly?
Agent CRM's nine named vertical bundles (Medicare, Life Insurance, IULs, Infinite Banking, Group Benefits, P&C Insurance, Health Insurance, Annuities and Final Expense Insurance) are not sold by GoHighLevel itself as pre-built packages. An agency would need to build equivalent automations, pipelines and a website on the base platform.
Does Agent CRM include HIPAA compliance?
Agent CRM's own blog states HIPAA compliance is included in its $97/month Starter plan. Agent CRM's own /plans page does not list HIPAA compliance as a named feature of either tier, so that inclusion is not confirmed on the pricing page itself. GoHighLevel's own pricing page lists a separate HIPAA compliance add-on at $297/month.
Does Agent CRM disclose that it runs on GoHighLevel?
Only on its own blog, in a post comparing itself to HighLevel. Agent CRM's homepage and /plans pricing page, the pages an insurance agent is most likely to see first, do not mention GoHighLevel or HighLevel at all.
