What is GoHighLevel Reputation Auto-Detection?

GoHighLevel's reputation auto-detection is a feature released June 15, 2026, that automatically identifies existing business listings across 52 review platforms and recommends accounts that should be connected. It shows review counts before connecting, surfaces overlooked profiles, and streamlines the connection process so agencies can manage all online reviews from one dashboard. The feature is available on all GoHighLevel plans at no additional cost.

GoHighLevel added auto-detection to its reputation management module on June 15, 2026. The feature scans 52 review platforms, identifies where a business already has listings, and recommends connections that have not been set up yet.

Before this update, connecting review platforms was a manual process. An agency had to know which platforms a client was listed on, find the correct review page URL for each one, and connect them individually. If a business had a TripAdvisor listing it forgot about, or a Glassdoor profile it never monitored, those reviews went unmanaged.

Auto-detection eliminates the guesswork. It surfaces existing listings the business may not even know about, shows the review count for each one, and lets agencies connect them with a single click.

How Auto-Detection Works

When you open the Reputation Management module, the auto-detection system scans all 52 supported review platforms for existing business listings. It looks for profiles matching the business name, address, and other identifying information already in the sub-account.

The results appear in a recommendation card at the top of the integrations page. Each recommendation shows:

  • Platform name (e.g., Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor)
  • Review count before connecting, so you can prioritize high-volume platforms
  • Connection status (connected, recommended, or not found)

The recommendation card prioritizes platforms with the most reviews first. If a business has 56,000 Google reviews and 12 TripAdvisor reviews, Google appears at the top of the recommendations.

Connecting a recommended platform takes one click. The system pre-fills the connection details based on the detected listing, so there is no need to manually find and paste the review page URL.

What This Solves for Agencies

Client Onboarding

The biggest friction point in reputation management onboarding was the platform discovery step. An agency would ask a new client: "Which review platforms are you listed on?" The client would typically name Google and maybe Facebook, missing half a dozen others.

Auto-detection replaces that conversation with facts. During onboarding, the agency opens the reputation module and immediately sees every platform where the client has a presence. The onboarding call shifts from "Where are you listed?" to "You have reviews on 8 platforms. Let me connect all of them now."

Overlooked Review Platforms

Many businesses accumulate reviews on industry-specific platforms without realizing it. A restaurant might have Zomato or OpenTable reviews it has never responded to. A healthcare practice might have Healthgrades or Zocdoc reviews going unanswered. A contractor might have Thumbtack reviews building up unmonitored.

These unmanaged reviews affect the business's online reputation whether the business knows about them or not. Auto-detection surfaces them so agencies can bring them under management.

Multi-Location Businesses

For agencies managing businesses with multiple locations, auto-detection scales the discovery process. Instead of manually checking 52 platforms for each location, the system does it automatically. An agency managing a franchise with 20 locations can onboard all of them significantly faster.

The 52 Supported Platforms

GoHighLevel's reputation management module supports reviews from 52 platforms, organized here by category:

General Review Platforms: Google Business Profile, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot, Better Business Bureau (BBB), Yellow Pages, Citysearch, Foursquare, Yell, ConsumerAffairs

Travel and Hospitality: TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, VRBO, Agoda

Food and Dining: DoorDash, Uber Eats, OpenTable

E-Commerce and Marketplace: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, AliExpress, Google Shopping

Healthcare: Healthgrades, Zocdoc, RateMDs, WebMD, Vitals

Home Services: HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Angi (formerly Angie's List), Houzz

Legal: Avvo, FindLaw, Lawyers.com

Real Estate: Zillow

HR and Employment: Glassdoor, Indeed

Software and Technology: Capterra, TrustRadius, Product Hunt, AlternativeTo, App Store, Google Play

Weddings: WeddingWire, The Knot

Automotive: CarGurus, Cars.com, DealerRater

Senior Care: Caring.com

Books: Goodreads

Housing: ApartmentRatings

Each platform supports multi-page connections. An agency can connect multiple business pages under a single platform, which is critical for multi-location businesses or agencies managing several clients from one sub-account.

How to Set Up Auto-Detection

Auto-detection runs automatically when you access the Reputation Management module. There is no separate activation step. Here is the full connection workflow:

  1. From your sub-account, navigate to Reputation in the left-side menu
  2. Click Settings from the top navigation bar
  3. Select the Integrations tab
  4. The auto-detection recommendation card appears at the top, showing platforms where your business was found
  5. Review the recommended platforms and their review counts
  6. Click Connect on any recommended platform
  7. The system pre-fills the connection details based on the detected listing
  8. Confirm the connection

Once connected, reviews from that platform sync into your centralized dashboard automatically.

Info

Auto-detection uses the business name, address, and other profile information in your sub-account. For the best results, make sure your sub-account business profile is complete and accurate before reviewing the recommendations.

Reviews AI Integration

Auto-detection works alongside GoHighLevel's Reviews AI feature, which automates review responses. Once a new platform is connected through auto-detection, Reviews AI can immediately begin generating response suggestions or auto-responding to reviews on that platform.

Reviews AI currently supports automated responses on:

  • Google Business Profile (suggestive and auto-response modes)
  • Facebook (suggestive and auto-response modes, added in 2026)

For the remaining 50 platforms, reviews sync into the dashboard for manual response. Reviews AI support for additional platforms has not been announced.

The combination of auto-detection and Reviews AI means an agency can discover a client's TripAdvisor listing, connect it in one click, and immediately start responding to reviews that may have gone unanswered for months or years.

Competitor Analysis Connection

GoHighLevel's reputation module also includes competitor analysis, which lets agencies benchmark a client's review performance against up to three competitors using Google and other major platform data.

Auto-detection feeds into this by ensuring the client's own review data is complete before comparison. If a client's auto-detected platforms show 4.2 stars across 500 reviews while a competitor shows 4.5 across 800 reviews, the agency has a clear picture of the reputation gap and where to focus improvement efforts.

Practical Application: Agency Onboarding Workflow

Here is a realistic workflow for how agencies can use auto-detection during client onboarding:

Step 1: Create the sub-account with accurate business name, address, phone, and category.

Step 2: Open Reputation Management. Auto-detection runs immediately. Review the recommendation card.

Step 3: Connect all recommended platforms. Start with the highest review count platforms. This typically takes under five minutes for a single-location business.

Step 4: Review the initial dashboard. You now have a complete view of the client's online reputation across all platforms. Note any platforms with unanswered reviews, low ratings, or negative trends.

Step 5: Configure Reviews AI on Google and Facebook for automated responses. Set rating conditions, tone, and language preferences.

Step 6: Set up review request automation. Configure SMS and email templates to request new reviews from customers after service delivery.

Step 7: Present the baseline report to the client. Show them which platforms they were on (some they likely did not know about), their current review counts and ratings, and the plan for improvement.

This entire onboarding process, which previously required significant manual research, can now be completed in a single session.

Availability and Pricing

Auto-detection is available on all GoHighLevel plans:

  • Starter ($97/month): Full auto-detection and reputation management
  • Unlimited ($297/month): Full auto-detection and reputation management
  • Agency Pro (previously SaaS Pro) ($497/month): Full auto-detection and reputation management

The feature is included at no additional cost. There is no per-platform fee, no connection limit, and no cap on the number of pages connected per platform.

Reviews AI, which adds automated review responses, requires the AI Employee plan ($50/month Growth or $97/month Unlimited per sub-account) or pay-per-use billing. Auto-detection itself works without any AI subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does auto-detection work for all 52 platforms?
Yes. Auto-detection scans all 52 supported review platforms for existing business listings. The scan uses the business name, address, and profile information in your sub-account to identify matching listings across every platform.
Do I need to manually enter URLs for auto-detected platforms?
No. When a platform is auto-detected, the connection details are pre-filled based on the detected listing. You click Connect and confirm. Manual URL entry is still available for platforms where auto-detection did not find a match or for adding specific page URLs.
Is auto-detection available on all GoHighLevel plans?
Yes. Auto-detection and the full reputation management module are available on Starter ($97/month), Unlimited ($297/month), and Agency Pro ($497/month) plans at no additional cost.
How often does auto-detection scan for new listings?
Auto-detection scans when you access the Reputation Management integrations page. It checks for any new listings that may have appeared since your last visit and updates the recommendation card accordingly.
Can I connect multiple pages per platform?
Yes. There is no limit on the number of pages you can connect under a single platform. This is useful for multi-location businesses, franchises, or agencies managing multiple client listings.
Does Reviews AI work on all 52 platforms?
No. As of June 2026, Reviews AI automated responses are supported on Google Business Profile and Facebook only. Reviews from all 52 platforms sync into the dashboard for manual review and response. Reviews AI support for additional platforms has not been announced.
Can auto-detection find listings for a business that changed its name?
Auto-detection uses the business name and address in your sub-account profile. If a business changed its name, listings under the old name may not be detected automatically. In that case, you can manually search for and connect the old listing using the review page URL.
