Which is better, GoHighLevel or Birdeye?
Birdeye is better if reputation and reviews across many locations are your whole problem and you want the deepest listing-site and review-response tooling available, priced per location. GoHighLevel is better if you want reputation management bundled with a CRM, funnels, websites and automation for a flat $97 to $497 a month, and you want to see the price before you talk to anyone. That second point matters more than it sounds: Birdeye's own pricing page publishes no dollar figures anywhere, for any tier, as of 2026-08-16. You submit a phone number to find out what it costs.

Birdeye and GoHighLevel both chase the same job for a local business or the agency serving one: get more reviews, respond to them, and manage the business's reputation across the places customers actually look. Birdeye does only that job, in more depth than GoHighLevel attempts. GoHighLevel bundles a lighter version of it inside a much bigger platform.
The detail every ranking comparison skips: check Birdeye's own pricing page today and there is no price on it. Not a low one, not a high one. Six location bands and a form that asks for a phone number.

Pricing: one side publishes a number, the other asks for your phone number
GoHighLevel publishes $97/month for Starter, $297/month for Unlimited, and $497/month for Agency Pro, self-serve, no sales call required.
Birdeye's pricing page, checked live on 2026-08-16, shows six location-count bands (1-3, 4-9, 10-39, 40-249, 250-999, 1000+) and, for every one of them, no dollar figure at all. The page's own language: "Pricing built around outcomes, not seat counts. One platform, one contract, replace point products and pay only for what you deploy at your locations." To get an actual number you select a location band and submit "the best mobile number to reach you." A sales call follows.
This is not a one-off snapshot. The same finding held on a Cost Index vendor sweep on 17 July 2026, again on 2026-08-13, and again today. Three checks, five weeks apart, same result each time: no published price, anywhere, for any tier.
What ranking pages do instead
Several live comparisons still print a specific Birdeye figure, commonly in the $299 to $399 per month per location range, attributed to third parties rather than to Birdeye's own page. That number cannot be confirmed against birdeye.com/pricing today. It may be stale, it may reflect a plan Birdeye has since restructured, or it may simply be a number a competitor comparison invented for a table that needed one. State plainly: this page will not repeat that figure as fact, because Birdeye itself is not currently publishing it.
No ranking page checked for this comparison leads with the fact that Birdeye's pricing is entirely gated. Most either print a stale number or mention "contact sales" as a minor detail. That is the gap.
Where Birdeye is genuinely the better buy
Reputation and reviews are your whole problem. If a business's core need is deep, multi-location reputation management, review response and listing accuracy across dozens or hundreds of sites, Birdeye's depth in that single category is real and GoHighLevel does not attempt to match it.
Listing accuracy at scale. Birdeye's coverage of directory and listing sites is more extensive than GoHighLevel's bundled module, and for a brand with locations across many markets, that breadth is worth paying for.
Enterprise multi-location reporting. Birdeye is built for organizations managing reputation across many sites at once, with reporting depth a bundled CRM module is not trying to replicate.
Where GoHighLevel is the better buy
You can see the price before you talk to anyone. $97 to $497 a month, published, no phone number required to find out what anything costs. Birdeye requires a sales conversation before you learn its price at any tier.
Reputation management is one module, not the only thing you are buying. GoHighLevel's $297/month Unlimited plan includes reputation management alongside a full CRM, funnel builder, website builder, SMS and workflow automation. Buying Birdeye for reviews alone still leaves you buying a CRM, funnel tool and automation platform elsewhere.
White-label and sub-accounts. Birdeye has no agency resale layer. GoHighLevel's Agency Pro plan is built specifically for agencies reselling the platform, reputation management included, under their own brand.
Flat pricing that does not scale with locations. GoHighLevel's plans do not change price by location count. Birdeye's pricing model is explicitly per location, which for a multi-location buyer changes a quote you cannot see into a total you cannot estimate.
An honest note on where GoHighLevel is weaker
GoHighLevel's reputation tooling is genuinely lighter than Birdeye's. Review response and listing management work well for a single location or a handful of them, but the interface and reporting are not built for someone managing reputation across hundreds of sites as a full-time job. If that is the actual use case, Birdeye's depth is worth its price, whatever that price turns out to be once you call.
Who should choose which
Choose Birdeye if reputation and reviews across many locations are the core of what you do, listing accuracy at scale matters, and you are comfortable getting a quote by phone before you know what you will pay.
Choose GoHighLevel if you want to see the price before you commit to a conversation, you want reputation management bundled with the rest of your marketing stack, or you are an agency that wants to resell any of this under your own brand.
